We spent 1 week at Pacific Palm Resort, Pacific Palm, about 0.5 hr from Fosters. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold. The wave was strong, but not too strong that the kids can't go in. Every morning, we are awaken by the 'laughters' of kookaburra, see pictures of them sitting at the veranda of the villa where we stayed. We also saw dolphin swimming (only once and my camera wasn't ready, so no picutre). Lots of oysters in Fosters, see them at the pier. There are also oyster farms in the area. We climbed the Cape Hawke Lookout, which has a good view of the region. We also found that we are physically unfit! Only 0.5 hr return, but we were so tired climbing uphills, Matt and Fay were first to get to the top and first to get back.
Food is cheaper than in Melbourne.
